Heavy Civil Estimator - Transportation & Municipal Projects

Estimator Position
A well-established heavy civil contractor in Ohio is seeking an experienced Estimator to support continued growth across transportation and municipal infrastructure projects throughout OH, PA, WV, and IN.

Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates and bid packages for heavy civil construction projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Develop accurate project cost estimates and bid proposals
- Coordinate with operations and project management teams during preconstruction
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering efforts
Qualifications
- Experience as an Estimator within heavy civil construction
- Background in transportation, roadway, bridge, utility, or municipal projects
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost analysis
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience with takeoff and estimating software
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
