Location: FORT PIERCE, FL, US Posting Closing Date: 07/07/2026 Salary: $2,525.49 Bi-Weekly / $65,662.74 annually Duties and Responsibilities Advocate for the Department in delinquency court when needed. Provide legal advice and training to Department personnel pertaining to delinquency issues. Responsible for initiating litigation of Fla. Stat. Ch. 984 Child in Need of Services (CINS) cases and representing the Department in CINS hearings. Provide legal oversight of pre-litigation Family in Need of Services (FINS) cases as needed. Liaison with Circuit Courts and stakeholders. Analyze statutes, rules, and federal regulations. Complete legislative bill analysis as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Juris Doctorate (JD) is required. Membership in the Florida Bar in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney. Able to travel within the South Florida region for court hearings and training purposes as needed. Benefits Telework eligible. No weekend or overnight duty.
