Now Hiring: Manual Machinist
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
We're looking for a dependable Manual Machinist to join our team. Candidates must have some experience with manual machining on manual lathes and manual milling machines. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to continue learning and improving their skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines.
- Machine parts using existing samples, parts, and occasional drawings.
- Read and interpret drawings when provided.
- Inspect work using precision measuring tools.
- Maintain close tolerances and produce quality workmanship.
- Work independently while knowing when to ask questions.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop.
Qualifications
- Some experience machining on manual lathes and manual milling machines is required.
- Ability to read basic drawings and use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to ask questions, learn, and continue developing machining skills.
