Staff Nurse

Role Summary The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a focus on family-centered approaches. The role involves delivering physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety support to patients of all ages, performing leadership duties, and engaging in patient-centered, quality improvement, safety, and evidence-based practices. The nurse supports provider staff through collaboration, mentorship, and education, while utilizing systems-based practices and technology. Flexibility to be assigned across various hospital areas based on patient needs is required. Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and motivation skills Strong verbal and written communication Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure Experience with healthcare environments and Microsoft Office; familiarity with electronic medical records preferred Education: BSN (or obtaining within 5 years), RN licensure in Ohio, BLS certification Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred Additional Duties Mentoring and precepting new staff Participation in quality improvement initiatives and system-based practices Contributing to staff education and professional development #J-18808-Ljbffr
