Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses, formulate treatment plans, and set achievable therapeutic goals.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of diverse populations, including women, teens, and children.

• Maintain meticulous treatment records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines regarding sensitive client information.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings and continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and interventions.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate emotional support to clients in distress.

• Facilitate community referrals and resource connections, supporting clients in accessing additional services to improve their quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be assisting clients—particularly women and teens—who have experienced trauma due to domestic violence. You will leverage evidence-based practices, including Play Therapy for children, to help clients navigate their emotional challenges and promote healing. Working collaboratively as part of a treatment team ensures that all interventions are comprehensive and client-centered, advocating tirelessly for the needs of those affected by domestic violence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credentials are a must.

• Demonstrated experience with individual and family counseling interventions is necessary for this role.

• The ability to work non-traditional hours, including two evenings per week, is essential to accommodate client schedules.

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for any in-office responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and interest in providing Play Therapy to children is highly desirable.

• Availability for weekend sessions is a tremendous advantage in enhancing client access to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, new hires are eligible for a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
