This full-time, remote role focuses on providing therapeutic services to individuals affected by domestic violence, particularly women, teens, and children. While most work will be conducted from your home office, there may be occasional in-office responsibilities for team meetings or training sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine treatment goals and client needs, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for teens and adults, focusing on trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Manage a caseload of clients, coordinating treatment plans and maintaining clear and accurate case notes and records in line with ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, contributing to an environment of continuous professional development while remaining accountable for treatment outcomes.
\n
• Actively engage in crisis intervention strategies to provide immediate support to clients in distress, guiding them through challenging situations.
\n
• Network with community resources to offer clients additional support and referrals as required, enhancing their access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client demographic includes women and teens who have experienced or are currently experiencing domestic violence. In addition, Counselors will also work with children through specialized Play Therapy methods. This position will entail advocating for and facilitating access to therapeutic resources tailored to the unique needs of each client, thus ensuring a holistic approach to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Must hold an active LCPC license in Illinois to provide counseling services.
\n
• Experience in individual counseling and family interventions is essential for effective client outcomes.
\n
• Must demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours, including late afternoons (3-8 PM) at least two evenings a week.
\n
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for any occasional in-office or community-based sessions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with clients affected by domestic violence is highly preferred.
\n
• Candidates with an interest and experience in providing Play Therapy will be given priority to support our younger clients.
\n
• Availability to work on weekends is a plus.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, we provide a signing bonus to welcome you to our team. Employees enjoy several benefits, including:
