Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients, establishing treatment goals and intervention strategies tailored to individual needs.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities, ensuring evidence-based practices are at the forefront of service delivery.

• Act as the primary contact for clients during their treatment journey, fostering trust and open communication to enhance the therapeutic alliance.

• Implement trauma-informed care practices and recovery-oriented strategies that empower clients in their mental health journeys.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with organizational and state regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to client care, participating in team meetings and case discussions.

• Develop and promote a safe and efficient treatment environment by following the organization’s policies and procedures regarding client confidentiality and worker safety.

• Encourage a positive work culture through effective communication and interactions with team members, contributing to a supportive and dynamic workplace.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work primarily with adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our patient population is diverse, and as such, sensitivity to cultural and individual differences is essential in tailoring treatment approaches that best meet the needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.

• Current and active LPC licensure in the state of Pennsylvania, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and mental health care standards.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, where the candidate has actively engaged in creating treatment plans and maintaining clinical documentation.

• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, enabling effective therapeutic dialogue with clients and active participation in team discussions.

• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish appropriate boundaries and a supportive rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or person-centered therapy.

• Proficiency using electronic health records and telehealth systems for patient assessment and therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
