Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to identify their individual needs and develop customized treatment plans.

• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to address specific mental health issues, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitating group counseling sessions that encourage shared experiences and support among participants, while fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

• Documenting clients’ progress meticulously through our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with confidentiality standards.

• Regularly collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to promote integrated care for clients.

• Developing and implementing educational materials and workshops to empower clients with coping skills and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be serving adults aged 18 and older who are confronted with challenges related to substance abuse, mental health disorders, or co-occurring disorders. Many clients may come to you seeking help with anxiety, depression, trauma, or addiction, transitioning through various phases of recovery. In this supportive role, you will utilize your expertise to guide them toward healthier coping strategies and sustainable change.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, the following qualifications are required:

• A valid Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, providing direct clinical services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The starting salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 52,000 to 60,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
