Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will engage with young adults facing mental health challenges through various methods:

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead dynamic and engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences and foster connections, promoting empathy and understanding within the group.

• Conduct Individual Therapy: Provide tailored counseling sessions to help clients explore their emotional landscapes, devise coping mechanisms, and set actionable goals that align with their personal journeys to recovery.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented, focusing on their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to track and evaluate client progress, ensuring each individual is moving toward their treatment goals.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and consult on complex cases, thus providing a holistic treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults from ages 18 to 30 within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These individuals often face issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Your role as a counselor will not only provide therapeutic support but also empower clients with the tools they need to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Current Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. Additional education or certifications are a plus.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, particularly with young adult populations.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ethical counseling practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
