Work Environment\n

This is a remote position working from a community health clinic framework, designed to provide flexibility while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to young adults within our outpatient treatment center. Your daily tasks will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead dynamic group sessions to foster peer connection and shared learning among clients, encouraging open discussion and mutual support.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide personalized, empathetic counseling tailored to each client, helping them navigate their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and address their unique needs.

• Monitoring Client Progress: Use various assessment tools and feedback methods to track outcomes, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure clients are progressing towards established goals.

• Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Team: Communicate regularly with other healthcare providers to coordinate care effectively and consult on complex cases to optimize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be engaging with young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 who are navigating mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment challenges. Your expertise will enable you to provide essential support and skills for developing healthy coping mechanisms and achieving personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Valid and current LPC license in the state of Arizona.

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices, particularly with respect to working with young adults.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations while maintaining a focus on client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings.

• Familiarity with PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) treatment modalities.
