Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Transcendence Counseling Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients with varying needs, ensuring the establishment of rapport and maintaining professional ethical standards.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to assess progress, ensuring they remain engaged in their treatment plans and discussing potential discharge when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and modifying person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific circumstances and preferences.

• Completing thorough documentation and progress notes for each client interaction to support continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and determine appropriate treatment pathways.

• Holding individual therapy sessions to address clients' challenges, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to their individual situations.

• Engaging in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves youth and their families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. We emphasize a client-centered approach that respects the individuality of each client, tailoring our interventions to meet their unique needs and situations. Our counselors work collaboratively with clients to empower them in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements within our clinical setting.

• Evidence of a minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnosis, as well as providing individual and group therapy.

• Proficiency in using digital tools and maintaining documentation with basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivery is also advantageous as our setting incorporates remote therapy services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
