Job Description: Dishwasher

Location: El Capitan Canyon Resort, Santa Barbara, CA

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a beautiful, natural setting. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. This position offers the opportunity to work in a peaceful, rustic environment while contributing to the success of a luxury glamping resort or campground.

Key Responsibilities:

· Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.

· Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.

· Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.

· Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed.

· Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.

· Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a hygienic work environment.

· Support the kitchen team during peak times to ensure smooth operations.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

· No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

· Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

· Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

· Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (AM/PM).

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

· Interest in working in a natural, outdoor setting.
