Job Title: Sand Mold Specialist Job Description

Join our team as a Sand Mold Specialist, working first shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Your role involves operating under a sand bucket, releasing sand into boxes, and shaking it to compact the sand for mold preparation. This critical process supports the creation of molds for liquid metal pouring.

• Operate under a bucket to release and compact sand in boxes.
• Prepare molds for the pouring of liquid metal.
• Ensure precision and accuracy in the mold preparation process.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience in a foundry is a plus.
• General laborer experience.
• Mechanical assembly and production skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Good hand and eye dexterity.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Machine shop experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Mechanical ability is essential.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment.

You will work in a foundry-type environment, which is both dirty and loud. It is essential to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses on the floor to ensure safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Oxford, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
