What You'll Do
- Assemble custom machinery, mechanical systems, and industrial components
- Build and plumb pneumatic systems
- Route and organize machine wiring and cabling
- Troubleshoot and support machine commissioning
- Fabricate parts using manual mills and lathes
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for equipment installation
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience in industrial machinery or automation
- 1+ year of manual machining experience (mill and lathe)
- Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret assemblies
- Basic electrical/wiring skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed
- Personal assembly tools
Bonus Skills
- Electrical wiring experience
- Robotics or automation equipment experience
- Experience with custom machinery builds
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Benicia, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
