Requirements Position Detail:*Looking for a provider to start in August.*Seeking two full-time, long-term locums. Monday through Friday office hours 8-4Possibly travel two days per week to outlying office in Somerset for office hours 8-4 (30 min from main campus)—not necessary for all providers.Hospital rounds/consults to be completed daily on the assigned weeksHospital rounds/consults on Saturday and Sunday on assigned weekends (4 hours per day of onsite work)Overseeing APPsCall after hours; there may be need to answer to clinic critical values or urgent patient matters outside of that 8-4 time range. No need to return in person to clinic or hospital.No hospital admissions, we are a consulting service only**As of June, Lifepoint’s Average Regular Rates, in Hem/Onc for the trailing 6 months is now around $674 and 24-hour call at $3,999. - We are seeking providers that fall in line with this rate range.**Locums-to-Perm candidates highly favored Highlights:The practice recently relocated to a modern building with a number of medical practices and services.With a nurse navigator program, multiple tumor boards and radiation oncology nearby, the practice offers the full spectrum of cancer care.Staffing includes:6 Infusion RNs for 16 chairs3 RN navigators2 RN oral chemo navigators1 inpatient APP for hospital patients1 outpatient APP for office patients3 MOAs to room patientsRequirements:BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist Active PA license or IMLC with LOQ in handPennsylvania requires every provider to complete hours of Mandated Reporter Child Abuse Recognition training, and 4 hours of Pain Management and Opioid Prescribing Practice education**Update on IMLC**This search does not have a license requirement, so candidates with IMLC can be submitted for this particular need. However, please see the below requirements:In addition to holding a current IMLC “letter of qualification,” physician applicants will need to demonstrate that they have satisfied two Pennsylvania state requirements before obtaining a license: completing 3 hours of education in child abuse recognition and reporting, and 4 hours of education relating to pain management and opioid prescribing practices.Looking for 2 FTE providers that can offer long term availability
