Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication skills in a school-based setting. Two contract opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide on-site services at an elementary/middle school or high school. These roles are centrally located and offer a chance to work in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Available Assignments:

• Palm Pointe K-8 (Port St. Lucie): Maternity leave coverage from October 5th through December 18th; K-8 caseload, including multiple ASD units; collaborate with one other SLP on site.
• Ft. Pierce Central High School: Maternity leave coverage from September through October 20th; high school caseload with SLPA support two days per week.

Desired Skills & Requirements:

• Active Florida SLP license required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
• Prior experience in school settings preferred; comfort with K-12 and/or high school populations.
• Familiarity with working with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) units is a plus.
• Ability to manage a moderate student caseload independently and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including district fingerprints (AHCA Clearinghouse acceptable if previously completed).

Position Details:

• Contract position; on-site services required.
• 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday, full school days).
• Assigned to one school location per assignment for focused support.
