Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career by providing vital support to students at elementary and middle schools in a rewarding educational environment. Flexible contract opportunities are available for skilled SLPs to make a real impact on young learners in the Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce area, covering the 2024-2027 school years.

Choose from part-time (14-21 hours/week) or combine assignments for a full-time (35 hours/week) schedule. You’ll work with welcoming teams and supportive staff, managing a caseload ranging from Pre-K resource therapy up to grade 8, depending on the site. Locations include Tradition Lakes, Manatee K-8, C.A. Moore K-8, and White City Elementary—each providing unique caseloads and positive work cultures.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida SLP license is required
• School-based SLP experience is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to complete district credentialing (including fingerprinting and onsite badge pickup)
• Flexibility to work independently or collaboratively, depending on assignment
• Commitment to student growth and academic success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to assigned caseload (K-8 or PK-8, depending on school)
• Complete all evaluations, assessments, and required documentation
• Collaborate with fellow SLPs, teachers, and administration to develop student goals and strategies
• Participate in student support teams, IEP meetings, and family conferences as needed
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
