You’ll play a pivotal part in problem-solving and innovation, making a tangible impact on customer satisfaction every day.With competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $22.50 per hour, your hard work will be rewarded. Day to day as a Plant Sanitation As a new Plant Sanitation team member at Barrett Petfood, you can expect to dive into a variety of daily responsibilities centered around maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment. Your day-to-day tasks will include sanitizing equipment, floors, and work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You’ll work closely with team members to identify potential sanitation challenges and implement effective solutions. Your role will also involve monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting any operational issues to maintain efficiency. You can anticipate a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, working from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, allowing you to develop a routine while contributing to our customer-focused mission.Take out garbage and empty palletsClean and sanitize various pieces of equipmentWork with a team to ensure our facility is cleanAssist operators on startups and shutdowns with removal of waste barrels and cleaning around equipmentOperate forklift and floor scrubber to assist in cleanup of production floorBail bags, boxes, and totesAdditional cleaning/janitorial tasks as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.This position is vital in upholding our commitment to quality and safety in pet food manufacturing.Requirements for this Plant Sanitation jobTo excel in the Plant Sanitation position at Barrett Petfood, several key skills will contribute to your success.
