Summary The Corporate Treasury Team is looking to add a financial data analyst for the Pricing and Profitability Team. This highly visible role will serve as a critical link between Pricing and Profitability, Enterprise Data Management, Technology, business-line partners and third-party vendors. To be effective the analyst must be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess superior analytical and communications skills, and have a strong work ethic. Financial Data Analyst (Pricing & Profitability) Top Candidates Must Be Able To Demonstrate History Of Combining financial and analytical experience with a strong understanding of data, systems and business processes Developing business requirements, conducting data validation, coordinating user testing, and supporting system use and implementation for Pricing and Profitability team Identifying process, data and control gaps and driving practical solutions Understanding sophisticated high-volume technical data workflows, mapping and systems, to provide dedicated business-side expertise. Summarizing key findings and preparing succinct presentations for executives Meeting deadlines while independently taking initiative to drive complex projects to completion Key Responsibilities Responsibilities Sound understanding of the data and analytics, concepts, methodologies, and key assumptions used within the Pricing and Profitability Team. Serving as dedicated business side subject matter expert for data, systems and initiatives impacting Pricing and Profitability Help coordinate data mapping, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness and new system enhancements and integrations Maintain documentation of business rules, system dependencies, validation procedures and key controls for Pricing and Profitability Investigate banker-reported issues in Pricing and Profitability team owned systems and dependant systems, coordinating resolutions with internal partners and system owners Monitor issues and recommend improvements to processes, controls, data quality and user experience Assist Corporate Treasury Team with strategic initiatives and other analytical projects as needed Qualifications Include Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree and/or certification such as CFA or CPA preferred 3-5 years’ experience in the banking industry (Finance, Operations, Technology, Data Management or Business Intelligence) preferred Ability to generate high-quality work product with strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written form Team orientated and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to self-identify process gaps and weaknesses Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills to manage responsibilities described above Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required with Power BI, Visio, and VBA a plus.
