Financial Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in budget development and financial planning processes. Perform pro forma analysis for new or discontinued facilities. Conduct and model moderately complex financial actions and prepare strategic recommendations. Coordinate with management across divisions to gather and analyze financial data. Provide consultative services to managers on financial results and reporting tools. Develop and maintain profitability measures for portfolios and business lines. Review and analyze branch profitability models and management review packages. Lead division initiative related to budgeting and capital project tracking. May administer and support incentive plans, determine payments and provide analysis to compensation. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act. MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, a comparable combination of education and experience considered. Previous related experience within a financial institution highly preferred. Thorough knowledge of financial statements, financial analysis and business strategies. Applicable working knowledge of the banking industry. ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions. Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions. Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
