The Jr Quality Inspector performs acceptance inspections of raw material, components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies to documented inspection plans using various metrology. This position is responsible to adhere to and promote the company documented Quality Management System procedures and policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform inspections in accordance with documented inspection plans or instructions Record inspection results clearly and legibly Conduct mechanical measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gages, drop gages, optical comparators, and CMM equipment Perform visual inspections using a microscope Identify, segregate, and report discovered non-conformances Prepare final source inspection documentation Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation Maintain a neat, organized, and compliant workspace Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience as an inspector preferred OpenDMIS CMM software preferred GD&T certification preferred EnerSys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
