Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience in school-based psychological services
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Ability to effectively consult with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Familiarity with state and federal educational guidelines
• Compassion, professionalism, and adaptability
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and apply behavior management and intervention strategies
• Deliver professional development and support to staff
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district and legal standards
• Communicate regularly with families to foster home-school partnerships
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology and continue professional development
