Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapist Location: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy. You are a healer and a helper, adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to the needs of patients, find joy in diverse settings, collaborate with peers, and refer for additional care as needed. As a teacher, you train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
