Position Title Program Associate Position Details FLSA status: Exempt Scheduled hours per week: 35 Department: Graduate School of Education Campus: Lincoln Center Work arrangement: Onsite (Hybrid policy applies, see Position Summary The Graduate School of Education’s Center for Educational Partnerships operates a Professional Development Center for New York State Religious and Independent Schools, providing services in accordance with Title IIA and Title IVA of the Every Student Succeeds Act. The Program Associate, under the supervision of the Project Director, develops, plans, coordinates, and implements professional development and school improvement support across New York State for these schools. This grant‑funded position will continue until August 31, 2026. Essential Functions Works under the immediate supervision of the Program Director. Identifies the professional development needs of Religious and Independent Schools throughout New York State in coordination with the Program Director. Develops respectful, culturally responsive professional development for teachers and administrators in a range of academic content areas, including literacy, mathematics, bilingual and ESL education, science, and special education, and works with the Program Director to engage and schedule presenters. Works with the Program Director to conduct the annual Religious and Independent School Educators Conference (RISE) each fall. Conducts follow‑up evaluation surveys following all professional development events. Note: This list is not exhaustive; the University may assign additional related duties as necessary. Management Responsibilities Not responsible for supervision or oversight of others. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in Education. Minimum three (3) years of experience in developing and implementing professional development for teachers. Minimum ten (10) years of teaching experience within the K‑12 grades range. Experience working with diverse populations. Excellent communication skills. Salary Minimum and maximum starting salary: $75,201. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
