Research & Development Field Account Manager Strategic Accounts -Massachusetts/ New Jersey

Field-based role focused on building relationships with R&D sites at strategic accounts in Massachusetts and New Jersey. The position involves early-stage technology engagement, pipeline visibility, and translating customer discovery needs into validation opportunities for commercial handoff.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with scientific and managerial stakeholders at customer R&D sites
- Track molecule pipeline status and process footprint to identify technology seeding opportunities
- Design and execute process and product validation trials with customers through scale-up and manufacturing readiness
- Monitor new process landscape within accounts and flag footprint changes and risks early
- Execute structured handovers of validated programs to commercial teams with stakeholder maps and validation evidence
Requirements
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biochemical Engineering
- 3+ years customer-facing experience in biopharma process development or technical support
- Ability to operate credibly in scientific environments and translate R&D needs into structured validation
- Strong stakeholder management across customer networks and internal matrix teams
- High proficiency in Salesforce CRM and structured documentation practices
- Willingness to travel over 50% to customer sites
Compensation: $100,000-$125,000 base, plus sales incentive plan and car allowance
