Restaurant Manager

Description We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and inspire a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence. As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding service, financial accountability, and adherence to company standards. You'll play a key role in building team culture, driving sales, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. Key Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members to foster a positive, high-performing workplace. Manage staff schedules to support business needs while controlling labor costs. Monitor inventory and vendor relationships to maintain quality and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Manage cash handling, daily deposits, reconciliations, payroll support, and financial reporting. Monitor key performance indicators, including labor, food cost, and sales, to achieve financial goals. Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively to ensure a positive dining experience. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain seamless communication and service execution. Support marketing initiatives, special events, and promotions that drive guest engagement and sales. Maintain restaurant facilities and ensure opening and closing procedures are consistently followed. Lead by example, promoting accountability, professionalism, and a hospitality-first culture. Qualifications 3–5 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing successful teams. Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, guest service, and restaurant financial management. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience with restaurant POS systems and scheduling software (Aloha, Paylocity, Ctuit, or similar platforms preferred). Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Current California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS)/ABC Certification, or the ability to obtain them upon hire. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
