Jr. Business Systems Analyst – Advanced ExcelWashington, DC / Capitol Hill (On-Site) Full-time, long term temporary assignment: 12 months with option years and/or potential to go permanent. US Citizenship required. Must pass a background check.General RequirementsMust be able to follow directions, and function effectively as part of a team or independently.Knowledge of and experience in the legislative environment is beneficial.Business casual attire.Must successfully complete a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance).Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with high-profile customers (Members of Congress and staff).The ability to effectively communicate in English through strong oral and written skills.Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to multi-task, in a high paced environment.Job DescriptionApply established procedures for system analysis.Evaluate existing systems and recommend changes.Make business decisions to select appropriate method from a wide variety of procedures or make simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals.Accurately input and update information into databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.Analyze processes and propose solutions to senior management.Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or data analyticsMinimum 1-2+ years' experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteMust have advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts, graphs, vLookup, formulas, etc.)Excellent customer service
