Vet Student Externship - Hands-On Mentorship, Lodging Covered

Practice Monmouth Small Animal Hospital began in 1989. In 2007, we found that our ever-growing business needed to be expanded, so we had a major remodel done. We doubled the size of our practice, including 3 exam rooms, a large lobby, and a surgery suite with an attached treatment/pre‑op/post‑op room. Today, our full-service veterinary team cares for a range of small animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and beyond. Position Purpose Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 4th year veterinary students with hands‑on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
