This is a remote position that combines the flexibility of telehealth with the structured environment of our detox center setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account patients’ personal histories, current challenges, and risk factors associated with substance use and mental health conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed interventions to promote recovery and emotional stability.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to develop skills for coping, emotional regulation, and adaptation to their recovery journey.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients, utilizing strong crisis management skills to assess and stabilize urgent mental health situations.

• Engage in regular case consultations with other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment and optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, many of whom may also be grappling with co-occurring mental health issues. You will work with a diverse population that may include adolescents, adults, and varied ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient will be essential in helping them achieve successful treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health, preferably within a detox or substance abuse recovery setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
