divh2Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) (MD/DO)/h2pThe Obstetrician-Gynecologist provides comprehensive medical and surgical care to women across the lifespan. This role includes obstetric care, gynecologic care, preventive health services, and surgical management of reproductive health conditions, with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow-up/liliDiagnose and manage high-risk and low-risk pregnancies, as applicable/liliProvide gynecologic care including well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and management of menstrual and menopausal disorders/liliDiagnose and treat gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and abnormal uterine bleeding/liliPerform gynecologic and obstetric surgical procedures consistent with training and privileges, including minimally invasive techniques/liliPerform cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, and other office-based procedures/liliCollaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, primary care, pediatrics, surgery, and other specialists/liliEducate patients regarding reproductive health, pregnancy, and preventive care/liliMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation/liliParticipate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical outcomes initiatives/liliSupervise and collaborate with residents, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff as applicable/liliComply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school/liliCompletion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program/liliBoard-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology/liliAbility to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure/liliDEA registration or eligibility/li/ulh3Skills and Competencies/h3ulliBroad expertise in obstetric and gynecologic care/liliStrong clinical judgment and surgical skills/liliExcellent communication and patient counseling abilities/liliAbility to manage both routine and complex womens health conditions/liliCommitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliOutpatient clinics, hospital labor and delivery units, operating rooms, and inpatient wards/liliCall coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays as determined by practice needs/li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliAbility to stand for extended periods during procedures and deliveries/liliManual dexterity for surgical and office-based procedures/liliVisual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient care and operative environments/li/ulpMust maintain state certification and/or licensure./p/div
