Inventory and Procurement Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives on keeping operations running seamlessly? We are seeking an analytical and driven Inventory and Procurement Specialist to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. In this critical role, you will champion materials availability and optimize inventory performance across our entire operation. Managing the end-to-end ordering process, you will ensure that every component is exactly where it needs to be to meet our fast-paced production demands. If you possess exceptional follow-through, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to proactively solve supply chain puzzles, we want you to help drive our operational success.

salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and track purchase orders, communicating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, and expediting orders to prevent production disruptions
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and data management; monitor and adjust stock levels as needed
• Align purchasing activity with production demands to meet operational needs
• Work closely with production, warehouse and leadership teams to resolve any materials issues
• Utilize ERP/MRP system for order management and inventory management
• Place importance on inventory accuracy, material availability, on-time deliveries and managing inventory turns
