Senior Accounting Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Level Accounting Manager to join their team in the Austin, TX area. The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for:
- Owning the monthly and annual close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and business units
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including vendor payments, customer invoicing collections, and cash application, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across entities
- Managing and mentoring a team of staff accountants, reviewing their work and developing their technical skills
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis for leadership as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license (active or eligible) required
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong technical GAAP knowledge and demonstrated experience managing a full-cycle monthly close
