Job Description As a Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business), you will be responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. You will drive sales, build and retain your book of business within the market/retail location, attract and generate new customers, cross‑sell existing customers, and support our product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance. You will sell to walk‑in customers, market products outside of the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits, create community relationships to promote continued growth, and assist customers in the office. Key Responsibilities Drive new business sales and achieve business goals. Build rapport and trust with customers by understanding their needs. Attract and generate new customers while cross‑selling to existing customers. Maintain and grow a book of business in the market/retail location. Market products outside the office through calls and in‑person visits, fostering community relationships. Assist customers with all aspects of the sales process in the office. Minimum Qualifications 0–2 years of experience. P&C licensing preferred; must obtain required licensure within 90 days of joining. Preferred Skills and Competencies Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products. Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell, and retention. Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active presence. Initiates outbound calling to target customer base for product offerings. Monitors competitors and recommends marketplace initiatives. Collaborates with Direct Sales Leadership to plan and manage marketing and sales processes. Delivers optimal results within metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while complying with rules and standards. Stays current on underwriting guidelines and company policy changes. Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports. Benefits Day 1 benefits.
