Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Cardiac Sonography experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 24 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Centricity is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Medicine.

Required Skills/Experience: - Prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a health care environment. - Minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience. Will consider 2 years if they have been at an academic teaching hospital. - Minimum 2 years of travel experience. Potentially open to less; however, cannot take someone with this being their first assignment.

Required Credentials: - Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program performing all types of cardiac ultrasound in a health care environment combined. One year of education equals one year of experience. - RCS via CCI is accepted as an alternative cardiac ultrasound registration.

Unit Details: - Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures and acquires echocardiographic and/or vascular data. - Provides education and training in ultrasound procedures for fellows, interns, and other staff. - Uses Philips EPIQs and Intellispace.

Shift & Scheduling: - Call as needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or the alternative certification RCS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
