About Us

We are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on delivering high-quality IT support, cybersecurity, cloud, backup/disaster recovery, VoIP, and infrastructure solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.

We are looking for an experienced B2B technology sales professional to become our primary sales leader and help us grow the next phase of our business.

This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone who already understands how to sell IT services and can independently manage the sales process from prospecting through close.

Candidates without prior MSP or managed IT services sales experience will not be considered.

Position Overview

This role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, developing client relationships, and helping refine and improve our overall sales process.

The ideal candidate has prior MSP or IT services sales experience and is comfortable selling managed services, cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, hardware projects, and recurring revenue agreements.

You will work directly with ownership and become the primary point person for all sales activity within the company.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business clients through relationship building, networking, referrals, and prospecting
• Meet with qualified prospects provided by our outside cold-calling and lead generation services
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal and close
• Sell managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, backup and disaster recovery, Microsoft 365, VoIP, hardware, infrastructure, and wiring projects
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with prospects and clients
• Conduct client business reviews and annual vCIO/strategic planning meetings
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts
• Maintain and manage sales pipeline and forecasting activities
• Follow up consistently on proposals, opportunities, and open quotes
• Collaborate with technical teams to scope projects and solutions
• Help formalize and improve the company’s sales process, documentation, and workflows
• Represent the company professionally during meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of MSP or managed IT services sales experience REQUIRED
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience
• Proven ability to generate and close new business
• Strong understanding of consultative sales methodologies
• Experience selling recurring revenue service agreements
• Experience managing long-term client relationships
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience working with CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
• Existing knowledge of: Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity solutions, Microsoft 365, Backup & Disaster Recovery, VoIP systems, Network infrastructure projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting vCIO or strategic technology planning meetings
• Existing local business network and relationships

Compensation

• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure
• Compensation will be based on experience and proven performance
• Realistic on-target earnings (OTE) of $120,000–$200,000+
