Executive Director

The Child Development Center of First Presbyterian Church of Burlington, NC is seeking an Executive Director to lead a well-established and growing childcare program. The CDC is a 5-star rated facility that strives to provide a nurturing environment where child safety is paramount and educational opportunities abound for children from ages 6 weeks-PreK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to guide a respected early childhood program through its next phase of growth and development. The Executive Director will work closely with the CDC’s administrative and educational leadership team, church leadership, and the Board to support the long-term health and success of the center. Responsibilities Strategic Planning Community Partnerships Fundraising and Grant Development Enrollment and Revenue Planning Policy Oversight Leadership and Staff Development Board Relations Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership skills, financial acumen, excellent communication skills, strategic focus, and the ability to work with varied interest groups including parents, CDC staff, First Presbyterian Church, and the community at large. Preferred candidates will have leadership experience in early childhood education, education, nonprofit management, or a related field, along with experience in personnel management, budgeting, and organizational leadership. Salary range of $60,000-$80,000, commensurate with education, qualifications and experience.
