Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on risk, exposure, and outcomes
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case management
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide responsive, high-quality service
• Meet billable hour expectations and contribute to firm growth initiatives
• Treat others with professionalism and respect as well as expect others to do the same

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Washington State Bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience , preferably in one or more of the following areas: Commercial litigation, Employment law, Insurance defense, and/or Personal injury or general liability
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills
• Experience taking and defending depositions and arguing motions
• Trial experience is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
