CAD Designer – North Carolina
A leading heavy civil / geotechnical construction company is looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join their team in North Carolina.
This is a great opportunity for a CAD professional looking to build a career with an established construction organization working alongside experienced engineers and design professionals.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and maintain engineering and construction drawings
- Create structural and geotechnical drawings
- Complete red-lined as-built drawings
- Develop designs from preliminary sketches, diagrams, and concepts
- Produce complex technical drawings and detailed construction plans
- Take projects from conceptual layouts through finished drawings
- Coordinate CAD projects with engineers and other team members
- Generate and coordinate files for project layouts
- Identify opportunities to improve and simplify designs
What We're Looking For:
- 0–2 years of CAD Technician / Drafter experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Civil 3D experience preferred
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- A get-it-done attitude
