Our pediatric cardiology department is looking for a full-time cardiologist with a specialization in cardiac imaging, including CT, MRI, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography. The selected candidate will take on the role of Director of Cardiac Imaging, helping to broaden the services offered by our Heart Center team.

Applicants must possess an MD or DO and hold board certification in pediatric cardiology. Proficiency in cardiac CT and MRI is essential, while experience in fetal echocardiography is advantageous but not mandatory. Leadership experience within a heart program and involvement in research are preferred. Compensation and rank will be determined based on qualifications.

The primary focus of this role will be on imaging, although the candidate will also engage in inpatient general pediatric cardiology services and outpatient clinics. In addition to clinical duties, the individual will be expected to educate medical students and participate in various academic activities.

Our Heart Center is a robust service line, featuring both senior and junior faculty members, including 2 congenital heart surgeons, 16 pediatric cardiologists (2 of whom are interventional cardiologists), and 7 advanced practice providers. Together, they deliver comprehensive, compassionate cardiac care to over 16,000 patients each year across 10 locations. Our program conducts more than 320 combined OR and catheterization cases annually, with approximately 100 CT and MRI procedures. With a strong network of primary care facilities totaling 46 locations in Ohio, our heart program has been operational for 25 years, offering a full range of services, including a specialized multi-acuity heart unit, single ventricle palliation, adult congenital heart disease management, and extensive interventional cardiology and electrophysiology programs.
