Trade Marketing Executive

We are looking for an organized, hands-on Trade Marketing Executive to support Ashoka’s retail and on-ground marketing activities. This role will help execute in-store demos, events, retail merchandising, and brand activations, working closely with the marketing and sales teams, retailers, agencies, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Coordinate in-store product demos and sampling programs, including scheduling, staffing, product availability, equipment, and store approvals. Support events, community sponsorships, and brand activations from planning and logistics through setup, execution, and post-event reporting. Coordinate retail merchandising initiatives, including product displays, signage, window branding, and point-of-sale materials. Work with vendors and agencies to obtain quotations, confirm deliverables, track production, and ensure timely delivery. Manage inventory and dispatch of marketing materials, sampling supplies, merchandise, and event equipment. Liaise with sales teams, distributors, and retail partners to support promotions and new product launches. Brief promoters and brand ambassadors on product features, sampling procedures, and brand presentation. Conduct store visits to review merchandising quality, brand visibility, and promotional execution. Track activation expenses, invoices, and budgets, maintaining accurate records. Compile activity reports with photographs, consumer feedback, sales results where available, and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications & Skills 1–2 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, events, retail merchandising, or promotional activations. Experience in food, consumer goods, or grocery retail is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines. Clear communication skills and confidence coordinating with vendors, store teams, and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic reporting. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to support hands-on execution.
