Come join us: Vernovis is looking for a Customer Service Representative who will support our clients back office which includes, but is not limited to, payroll and billing processes. What You'll Do: Verifies data has been entered in order to process client payroll and billing timely and accurately. Timely and professional response to customer enquiries. New customer setup and data entry. Accurate maintenance of all customer databases. This includes client payroll data and billing data. Updates customer folders with changes to reflect current week’s payroll and billing instructions. Processes credits/rebills. Assist clients in developing effective processes for reporting their payroll and billing information accurately and timely as needed. Provides repeat training or answers lower-level technical questions regarding software usage of payroll and billing platform. Timely transmission of accounting and payments reports such as wires, ACH, and AR credits/debits. Promptly notify management of problem areas. What You’ll Have: Previous experience in payroll processing preferred but not required. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent oral, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Ability to use multiple types of software including MS Office and proficiency in basic office equipment. Understanding basic accounting principles including payroll, payroll taxes, AP, AR, and cash posting. Ability to understand relationships of data in multiple databases and good with numbers, particularly reconciling differences. Must be detail oriented, customer focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
