Electronic Trading Risk Consultant

Position: Electronic Trading Risk Consultant

Duration: 1-1.5 Months (Potential Extension)

Location: Primarily Remote

Project Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced consultant with a strong technology and electronic trading background to support a special advisory engagement focused on Market Access Controls (MAC) and SEC Rule 15c3-5 .

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and validate Market Access Controls (MAC) in electronic trading environments.
Evaluate compliance with SEC Rule 15c3-5.
Analyze electronic trading platforms, order routing, and exchange connectivity.
Review pre-trade risk controls, trade lifecycle, and trade surveillance processes.
Perform analytics and stress testing on trading limits and exchange message thresholds.
Identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with Trading, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams.
