Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fantastic contract opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist eager to make a real difference in the educational setting. This full-time opening is designed to cover a maternity leave, starting September 8th and running through the end of November. You’ll primarily serve elementary students, with a caseload that also includes a handful of students with more severe developmental needs. The schedule involves working four days within the district, and one day serving a partner site outside the district each week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license for the state (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred
• Strong collaborative skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to support and adapt interventions for students with diverse developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to a predominantly elementary caseload
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
• Document treatment sessions and monitor student progress
• Offer strategies and resources to staff and families that support student participation and success
• Travel one day per week to an external site within a manageable distance
