Executive VP of Finance Laboratory Revenue Cycle

Executive Vice President of Finance – Laboratory Revenue Cycle Location: Tacoma, WA Area (Relocation Assistance Available) Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to recruit an experienced Executive Vice President of Finance with deep expertise in laboratory revenue cycle management, reimbursement strategy, and payer relations . This executive leadership role is focused on optimizing financial performance across laboratory services through strategic oversight of revenue cycle operations, reimbursement, revenue integrity, and financial analytics. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience leading laboratory revenue cycle teams and driving measurable improvements in reimbursement and collections. Key Responsibilities Provide executive leadership for all aspects of laboratory revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, claims management, collections, accounts receivable, and denial management. Develop and execute strategies to improve reimbursement, maximize collections, reduce denials, and strengthen overall revenue performance. Lead payer contracting initiatives and analyze reimbursement trends across Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial payers. Ensure compliance with CMS, CLIA, OIG, and other applicable regulatory requirements related to laboratory billing and reimbursement. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and reimbursement analytics to support executive decision-making. Partner with operational leadership to improve billing accuracy, revenue integrity, and financial performance. Lead, mentor, and develop revenue cycle, billing, reimbursement, and finance teams while promoting continuous process improvement. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of healthcare finance or revenue cycle leadership experience. At least 5 years leading laboratory revenue cycle operations. Demonstrated success improving laboratory billing, reimbursement, collections, and financial performance. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, managed care reimbursement, and laboratory compliance. Experience with laboratory billing systems, revenue cycle platforms, LIS, and EMR systems. Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills. Preferred MBA, MHA, CPA, HFMA, CHFP, CRCR, or similar credentials. Experience within molecular diagnostics, pathology, toxicology, genetic testing, or other specialty laboratory environments. Background managing payer negotiations, laboratory pricing strategies, or outsourced revenue cycle vendors. Why Join?
