Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Shift Requirements

7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend availability required.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring for individuals in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including Cardizem and Insulin drips.
• Participate in patient assessments, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the management of patients with various medical conditions, including those requiring phenobarbital on telemetry.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NH or Compact state required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, specifically in MedSurg and Telemetry.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Ability to successfully complete a Dysrhythmia Exam with a score of 80% or higher during onboarding.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred; Cerner experience is a plus.
• Strong references from recent charge or manager roles within the specialty are essential.

Travelers may be requested to float to other locations within the region. Consideration will be given to first-time travelers who possess relevant experience.
