Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each step of the process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions immediately
• Diligently document procedures and maintain patient records using the electronic medical system
• Remain updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
