Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop and implement customized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercises, stretching exercises, manual therapy, and the application of assistive devices, tailored to each patient's needs and capabilities.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as required to align with their evolving goals and conditions.
• Engage with patients, their families, and caregivers, educating them about recovery processes, use of assistive devices, and promoting overall wellness strategies.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and advancements in physical therapy through participation in workshops and professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient caseload will be diverse, covering a wide range of conditions from post-operative recovery to rehabilitation after serious injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of all age groups, providing specialized care that helps each individual achieve their unique rehabilitation goals. By fostering strong relationships with your patients, you will empower them to actively participate in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, with eligibility for certification as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) being advantageous.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in basic computer programs for documentation and reporting.
• A flexible approach to therapy, adapting techniques to best suit the individual needs of patients.
• Current CPR Certification, ensuring readiness for any emergency situation.

Preferred Experience

• Although two years of prior experience as a Physical Therapist is required, recent graduates who demonstrate exceptional potential may also be considered.
• Experience in a home care setting is a plus, as it equips you to better navigate the unique challenges of delivering therapy in a patient's home.

Compensation and Benefits
