The Treasury Operations Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for residents, responsible parties, and internal teams regarding electronic payment inquiries and account setup. This role ensures accurate processing of ACH and credit card transactions, supports autopay enrollment, and troubleshoots payment portal issues. While customer service is the core focus, the position operates within the Treasury department to maintain compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in payment-related processes.

Essential Duties

As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Our foundational belief is the sacred value of human life. The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries related to electronic payments and autopay setup.

• Assist residents and responsible parties with navigating the online payment portal.

• Process ACH and credit card transactions accurately and in compliance with company standards.

• Set up and maintain autopay accounts; remove accounts for moved-out residents.

• Troubleshoot and escalate payment portal issues to technical support as needed.

• Monitor payment activity for accuracy and report discrepancies.

• Collaborate with Treasury team to ensure proper application of payments and adherence to internal controls.

• Maintain documentation and follow established procedures for payment processing and customer interactions.

• Provide exceptional customer service while upholding company values and principles.

Experience and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial or billing environment.

• Understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., NACHA rules).

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to work independently.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing procedures and systems.

Pay Range:

16.65 - 25.60
