POS System Specialist - Bilingual in Chinese

Compensation and Role Summary Compensation: This is a non-exempt position, with a monthly salary of $4,500 during the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the base rate will increase to $5,000 per month. Role Summary: The POS Systems Specialist role is a fully onsite position 5 days a week in our Flushing, NY office. This position is a critical role that interacts directly with our clients, supports our sales effort, and troubleshoots our systems. This role requires a technical background . You will be expected to perform client-facing work, alongside troubleshooting for our clients. Responsibilities Handle advanced POS software and hardware troubleshooting cases Prepare, install, configure, and maintain POS systems and related hardware for merchants Support large-scale or multi-location deployment projects Perform remote troubleshooting over the phone and through remote support tools Support integrations with payment terminals, printers, online ordering platforms, and third-party systems Collaborate with the Product and Development teams on testing plans, UAT, and product improvement initiatives Participate in pilot launches and new feature rollouts Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry level team members Assist Operations and Sales teams with technical consultations and deployment planning Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides Assist with inventory tracking, hardware preparation, and device management Handle escalated merchant support cases and provide timely resolutions Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer! Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is required, both reading and writing included. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Administration, or related field is a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience working with POS systems Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
