Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and current mental health status.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and building coping resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address patients' needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for patients to process their experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support individuals during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate strategies and emotional support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development sessions to enhance trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the delivery of best-practice interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients are primarily individuals coping with trauma-related conditions, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. These individuals often require a multifaceted approach to treatment that respects their personal experiences while providing professional, structured support.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT) to practice in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly with trauma-focused modalities.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards patients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios, providing support to patients in crisis.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
